Going to sleep in a bit (trying to sleep earlier). I’ll get back to replies later in the day. Good night and day everyone!

I’m not too sure about that. I started a new anime on Saturday night called Kino’s Journey, and the first episode was about a town where everyone drank some serum that allowed them to know each other’s thoughts, and they all ended up isolated and afraid because they couldn’t handle their thought differences or believe each other.

Cool show though. It takes a flaw of human society to show the mistakes they could lead to should they come close to the exaggerated proportions of the towns visited by Kino and Hermes. So it’s basically a moral per episode.

“Oh! That’s a great plan! I love kittens. Nee-san always tell me to leave all the kittens that I pick up outside. But I can’t leave them out there with no food or shelter.” He said petting the kittens. They seemed friendly. He looked up at him “My name is Alphonse Elric. What’s your name?” He asked

“Ah, you have a brother that doesn’t like kittens. Too bad… but at least, you could always come here and play with these. If you find any in the street, you could always bring them here and take care of them,” said Walker as he took one of the kittens scratching the back of his hoodie into his lap and began to tickle it.

“A pleasure to meet you, Alphonse-san. I’m Walker Yumasaki, and I teach Creative Writing here.” He extended his hand to Al to shake his.

“Hm?” Maya directed her attention to the man that began to talk to her. She listened to what he had to say with a small interested smile.

“Oh? A workshop, huh? What kind of workshop?” Her interest had been piqued even more and since she didn’t read the flier she had no idea what he was going on about. After he finished explaining about that she smiled and then nodded enthusiastically.

“That’s right! I’m fairly new. My name is Maya Fey~!”

“They’ll be inspirational workshops! Basically, helping students develop ideas that they could express through written or audiovisual forms, like stories, drawings or films,” he explained with much enthusiasm. “I’m the Creative Writing teacher here, so I thought it’d be nice to do something different and not just writing in the summer.”

“Nice to meet you, Maya Fey-san. I’m Walker Yumasaki.”

... Anya.

Hello there, Anya-san! My name’s Walker Yumasaki; I’m the Creative Writing teacher here. Nice to meet you.

armoredalchemist:

“Thank you.” He walked in the room filled with kittens. They began to scratch his armor and he sat down. The kittens started to surround him. “Why are they so many kittens here?” He asked.

Walker silently observed as Al sat down making a clash sound that didn’t disturb the kittens already throwing themselves upon him. “Oh, didn’t you know? LOKO stands for Lovers of Kittens Organization. It’s a club that takes care of kittens, whether lost or of students currently taking classes. This room is open for anyone to come in and play or feed them. I heard the club goes up in adoption hunts, where members go around neighborhoods trying to get the cats adopted.”

He kept looking at Al and wondering why he had a suit on. “What’s your name?,” he asked as he sat down again.

armoredalchemist:

During Alphonse’s lunch break, he wandered around the halls looking for something to do. He couldn’t go to the cafeteria to eat. He can’t eat at all. He passed a billboard with a list of clubs in the school. He looked through it and noticed a club called LOKO. He wondered what it was.

Alphonse wandered down to the club room of Loko. It was in room B3. He knocked on the door and opened it. “Um, is this a club called LOKO?” He asked in the room. He hoped he wasn’t interrupting.

To distract himself from the sadness and anger after hearing news that they weren’t going to show his favorite anime on Saturday for some unexplained reason, Walker went to the LOKO room to go play with some cats during lunchtime. As he was throwing a yarn ball at a kitten, he heard a knock on the door. When he turned around, he saw a large shadow cast over him and the voice of a young boy.

There stood a large suit of armor in front of him. Some of the kittens got scared and hissed or ran away, but Walker just stood there amazed. “WOW! That’s some sweet armor! Yeah, this is the LOKO room. Come on over!,” he said picking up one of the kittens that was hiding behind his legs. It hid its head with its paw as Walker held it up. Although some kittens ran away, a few of the others slowly approached Alphonse and began to meow or scratch the armor’s feet.

The summer was about to arrive at Shōtotsu, and although many students and teachers were eager to get out of the school and already making plans for their vacations, some were planning to continue teaching or studying in the summer; Walker was one of the latter. He did not have plans to teach his regular Creative Writing course during the summer, and instead do something even more informal than how his classes already were. Because he had plans to separate half of his week for anime and manga viewing, he decided to give workshops on all forms of inspiration.

To lure in some interested pupils that did not currently take his course, he was putting out fliers all around the school. They had all sorts of birds in them, drawn in different artstyles, and some were photographed and digitally altered to give off a fantasy look. The message of the fliers would not be visible until somebody got close enough to be able to read them, but their overall randomness was enough to get quite a few curious heads surrounding Walker as he pasted some in every corner.

Maya was one of those people who happened to take a couple of glances at all the fliers posted around. She saw them all from afar though and it didn’t even come to her silly mind that something might be written on them. “Wow, the school must be getting a make-over or something~” She commented with a giggle. Then she paused in the middle of the hallway and thought about something. “Or maybe.. it’s national bird day..? If only Nick were here~! He’s a phoenix after all~” She giggled again but louder this time at her joke. Nick’s name was so fun to play with, especially with a last name like Wright and such a unique first name like Phoenix.

Walker was finishing pasting a flier to an announcement board when he heard Maya talk. He was curious about the ‘phoenix’ she just mentioned. “Nah, it’s not a make-over or anything. Or National Bird Day, I think, eh, I didn’t check if it was.”

“These fliers are to announce some workshops I’ll be giving in the summer. I figured they’d catch the attention of the students, so they’re working after all,” he said widening his grin. “Although, I wonder if the people interested have read what’s written underneath the bird pictures.” Walker looked around but only a few students seemed to be at a close enough distance from the fliers to be able to read about the workshops.

He returned to looking at Maya. “You look sort of new here. I’ve seen you around before, but I don’t know your name yet.”

“Great! I’m sure it will look pretty. Hmm… do you have other hobbies aside dress-making?”

“Hm..Maybe eating?”

“What’s your favorite food?”

.... I have no record of ever meeting you. ((holy moly I just got chills >___> ))

“Oh, it probably wasn’t you then… Anyway, nice to meet you. I’m Walker, and you are?”

(:D as intended - I can’t believe this got drafted by accident)
